Here are all the Daily Deviations that Myana and I featured for the month of January.  I'm going to do something different this month by   putting three of January's DDs at the very beginning of this journal feature because they were featured on the days this past week (January 28, 29, 30) when the DD stream in the footer was broken.  It was heartbreaking to see how little attention these artworks got, but the same thing happened in all of the galleries, not just Artisan Crafts.  I guess we've all become reliant on and spoiled by having a footer, but all the DDs suffered on those three days when it was broken.   All of these works are glorious and very special, but the first three deserve a little extra attention, so please be sure to click on, fave, and comment on them.

Also, I'm thinking of making a feature news article on January's DDs from the Artisan Crafts gallery, partly to help compensate for the lack of attention to those three DDs from this week, but perhaps also to start out 2009 and featuring each month's DDs for the rest of the year?  Not sure it's been done before in the AC gallery, but sounds like the beginning of a good trend, don't you think?
