Deadline for Donating to the Silent Auction Coming

Journal Entry: Sat Jul 19, 2008, 7:39 PM
Deadline for Donating to the Silent Auction is in 2 Days!

You have until July 21 to donate to the Silent Auction & Contest to help $Moonbeam13 in her bid to participate in "The Weekend to End Breast Cancer" Walkathon! That means you have only until midnight on this coming Monday to donate. So, exactly which timezone would that be, you might be asking? Well, I could say my timezone, which is PST, but I don't wanna do that, so let's say whatever timezone you're in, whichever that might be. Or, whenever $Moonbeam13 decides to lock the Auction gallery. That means you might have a little extra time, but better to be on the safe side and do it asap.

And look, the Silent Auction has been blessed with a stamp, courtesy of the wonderfully thoughtful and generous =shadowed-light-waves!

Also, you probably noticed that the DDs have been dwindling on the Frontpage. The tool thingie to select them is broken and there's nothing anyone can do but wait patiently until they fix it. You can read about it in $Moonbeam13's journal here: [link] She doesn't say a whole lot about it, but while you're on her page, check out her adorable new CSS. :aww:

No, you still have about a day and four hours left. Maybe you have something already made so you don't have to make something at the last minute? It was easy for me because I knew about this long before I organized the event and wrote it up in the news article.

Actually, you were right about the deadline, it was yesterday. But I believe the gallery has since been re-opened for a little while longer. I totally messed up but if it is reopened then people have a little more time to donate if they wish.

I so totally goofed up in my journal, so yes, the deadline was the 20th. But $Moonbeam13 reopened the Auction gallery, for how much longer, I don't know. I'll be writing a news article and a new journal tonight when I get home from work!
