This is something I made a while back. It had a matching clutch bag that got an award in a wearable art contest. As you can see, on the frontside of this bag the rattlesnake is about to pounce on the little rat and on the backside he is just about to find out that a scorpion is about to get him!!
Leather and hair-on-cow. Ten 3mm blue turquoises. Lined with heavy-weight, multi-stripe (mostly red) 100% Guatemalan cotton. One interior welt pocket (the welt is leather). The snake's rattle is twisted chamois. 9 1/2" (24cm) long by 7 3/4" (20cm) wide. |

Love the snake. Also love the little inlaid star - it's cute. Also like the layout with the furry top panel and the picture along the bottom - usually you sort of "frame" the picture. I like that, but I like this too.
